Project Name: Anhui Snack Food Company
Project Overview: A snack food brand integrates R&D, repackaging, and retail operations, serving both physical stores and online platforms. With post-pandemic order volumes surging rapidly, the traditional “man-to-goods” model could no longer meet efficient operational demands. The company deployed 54 low-profile AGVs and 4 forklift-style AGVs to achieve fully automated material handling throughout the entire process—from receiving and picking to shipping—significantly enhancing logistics intelligence.
Project Pain Points:
Order processing inefficiency: Traditional manual picking methods cannot keep pace with the growing demand for orders, resulting in low operational efficiency and production bottlenecks.
Manual operations are labor-intensive: Employees must frequently travel back and forth to the temporary storage area to retrieve goods, resulting in high physical demands and significant time and effort expenditure.
Disorganized warehouse management: Haphazard placement of goods not only complicates picking operations but also increases management complexity, with issues becoming particularly pronounced during peak business periods.
Project Highlights:
Multi-vehicle collaborative operations: Integrated deployment of both hidden-type and fork-type AGVs to cover diverse scenarios including pallet storage and retrieval, empty pallet recovery, packaging material handling, goods-to-person picking, and integration with automated storage systems and conveyor lines.
Full-process automation upgrade: Achieve automated material handling through mobile robots, reduce manual intervention, and enhance the overall intelligence and responsiveness of the system.
Smart Warehouse System Integration: Combining AGVs with intelligent warehouse management software enables orderly goods management, rapid location tracking, and efficient dispatch.
Project Revenue:
Significantly reduced manual labor intensity: Implementing “goods-to-person” picking eliminates the need for employees to run around, allowing them to complete operations solely at their workstations, greatly enhancing the work experience.
Significantly enhanced operational efficiency: Automated robotic handling effectively manages daily and holiday order surges, ensuring timely and accurate goods intake and outflow.
Warehouse Management Optimization: Ensuring goods are neatly arranged and organized, with clear and traceable scheduling. This enhances space utilization and management efficiency, providing robust support for business growth.
